During our trip to Mexico, we stayed in one of the 602 ocean view suites of the Hotel Fiesta Americana Coral Beach Cancun. It was late at night when we arrived and after our long flight from Madrid all I wanted to go straight to bed. We stayed at a  Suite Ocean View King on the second floor. A beautifully designed 560 sq. ft. room with marble floors, air conditioning, luxury amenities, a cosy living area with a 65’ plasma TV, and a private sitting areas and surrounding balcony facing the turquoise waters of the Caribbean sea, the perfect setting to wake up to. Its private bathroom are designed to be spacious and offers a shower/tub combinations and a separate vanity area with designer toiletries.

Also, breakfast is to die for. Around 8AM, I headed to the restaurant Viña del Mar to try their famous Champagne Breakfast buffet which includes a selection of fresh tropical juices and fruits, cereals and yoghurts, homemade pastries, smoked salmon, cold meats, assorted cheeses and, of course, Mexican specialties. Make sure you visit the omelette station, where Catalina cooked us the best tortilla with chorizo, bell peppers and cheese.

The Hotel Grand Fiesta Americana Coral Beach Cancun offers a large outdoor heated cascading pool with poolside snack bars and sun loungers, a private beach with shaded palapas, 5 delicious restaurants, a fitness center, a full-service spa and one of the best kids’ clubs you will ever encountered. Additional amenities at this resort include wireless Internet access, concierge services, babysitting/childcare, a shuttle from the hotel to the airport, valet parking onsite, 24-hour room service and much more.
